Quilts for Police Cars!

Utah Quilt Guild has been working on getting a quilt in every police car, in Utah. President, of Castle Country Quilters, Cindy Vouk took Price cities to them this morning. Captain Bill Barnes was very pleased and says he will get them in the cars today. Thanks to all you awesome quilters, for joining in and making this possible! 

We are going to learn how and make
"Micro Hotties"

2 Fat quarters

10 X 20 inch piece of 100% cotton batting

1 Fat quarter of coordinating fabric to bind and make the finger holders.

Ribbon Embroidery Class

Classes will be held at the 

Wellington City Building, in the multi-purpose room.

2 classes on June 6th

Sandwich fixens= olives, pickles, mayo, mustard, lettuce etc.

2 veggie plates w/dip

3 salads(noodle or potato)

3 deserts 

Our project for this month is "The Arm Chair Caddy". 

When we are done we will be working on a "Our Pillow Case Service Project".

Material needed for Our Arm Chair Caddy project:

2- 7" squares light

2- 7" squares dark

1- 19" X 7" light

1- 19" X 7" dark

1- 10" X 7" light or dark

Batting:

2- 7" squares

1- 19" X 7"

1- 10" X 7"

Binding:

70" color of your choice

Material needed for Our Pillow Case Service Project- 

for Castleview Out Patient Surgery(for children under 12)

1 Heavy cardboard tube 16" long and 2 3/4" in diameter
 *shown in picture above
(these tubes are sold at the Post Office-shipping tube for aprox 4 dollars)
3/4 yard fabric
3/4 yard white flannel
3/4 yard 1/4" ribbon(cut 2, 11" pieces)
3/4 yard 3/8" ribbon(cut 2, 11" pieces)

Cutting:

Cotton:
1 each          18 1/2" X 24"        A
